The URBAN SCIENCE INSTITUTE is a leading provider of meta-research analysis, Urban design, development and implementation of urban and public policy, forwarding the vision of the EARTHNOMAD FOUNDATION along with its partner organizations: 3MA Networks and ARK Tectonics. The institute provides training and educational seminars in urban and public policy, Phronetic engagement, Mindful Policy Engagement and citizen engagement strategies and techniques to non-profits, NGOs, government agencies, research institutions, citizen groups, neighborhood associations, organizations, schools, and the public.

Our Mission ☆

Our Institute's core research and development services are based on the emerging field of Phronetic Engagement, founded and developed by the eminent Professor of architecture, urban planning and policy Dr. B. Schaban-Maurer, award winning author of 'Rise of the Citizen Practitioner,' a landmark study of direct citizen participation and policy. It addresses emerging policy areas of concern for municipal, state or provincial, institutional (governmental and NGOs), academic institutions and professional organizations.

The Urban Science Institute is a global leader in the research, development and implementation of policy-oriented participatory processes for the fields of architecture, urban design, urban planning, higher education and public policy. We engage PhD-level urban design, planning and public policy experts and professionals along with urban policy experts worldwide, as well as locally based consultants, administrative coordinators, research associates and affiliated academics at our North American offices in the United States and Canada.
